A picture may look as good as you want, but there are certain things that a camera can not do. You may want to frame your photo or place a watermark, if you intend to upload it to a web site. GoodFrame places a series of simple adjustments options at your disposal, which you can use to prepare your photos for printing, uploading to a web site and other tasks. Its functions are straightforward and easy to understand. In other words, you will spend very little time adjusting your images.

GoodFrame is freeware, but you can also find GoodFramePlus, which is not free, but it provides additional features. The installation file weighs in at 1.60 MB, which should not take long to download. A standard setup wizard will guide you through the entire installation procedure, which does not involve advanced settings or confusing options.

The software allows you to process multiple images, one after another. They are displayed individually, on the right side of the interface and you can make your adjustments on the left side. The available options are neatly separated, making it very easy to resize images, add frames, watermarks or other information, loading pictures or setting an output path.

You may keep the original size of your images, crop them or resize them to specific dimensions. Additionally, you can choose a quality, which is ideal for printing the picture, displaying it on a screen, uploading or drafting. Frames can be selected from a drop menu and you can edit them or create new ones on a separate window. You may combine multiple frames, with different thicknesses, positions, transparency levels and so on.

When it comes to adding information, you can place logos, in various image formats, watermarks and signatures. These items come with their own settings, for changing their position, size and making other adjustments. When you are done processing an image, you may click a Save button, on the lower edge of the interface. The software will save the picture, without prompting you for anything and it will display the next one immediately. As you go from one image to another, a progress bar will slowly fill up, so you can have an idea on how many images are left.

Pros

GoodFrame's functionality is simple and straightforward. You only need to load one or more pictures, select a few options and proceed to the next image. The options are neatly organized and they are very easy to understand.

Cons

The free version does not provide any options for adjusting the picture's brightness, contrast or other levels. With GoodFrame's simple, but efficient features, it will take less than a minute to frame and watermark your pictures and optimize them for printing, uploading to a web site and other tasks.
